NRH Activities Fair showcases activities available to youth in the North Richland Hills and Hurst areas.
It’s one stop shopping for families and community members to learn about and/or sign up for the many opportunities offered in the area – including sports, recreation, clubs and services.

Three positions remain open on the PTA Board for this school year. If you would like to have an active role on the Board, we would love to have you! If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Lisa Keil, President at email@example.com.
Handbook/Directory Chair – Responsible for all activities related to the publication of the PTA Online Handbook and Directory. Shall obtain all the information needed for the handbook (i.e.: Meeting Dates, Special Events Dates, Bylaws & Standing Rules, etc.) from the president and executive board. Students’ information will be collected from the appropriate BISD employee. Shall make available online login information to the members of the association with the help of the membership chair.
Parliamentarian - Shall attend all meetings of the association and executive board; shall advise on parliamentary law and methods of procedure; shall review and update bylaws as adopted by state and national PTA; shall have in his/her possession a copy of Robert’s Rules of order Newly Revised and items necessary for a ballot vote at all meetings; shall be prepared to read sections of the bylaws at association meetings regarding the nominating committee, election of officers and any other time requested by president.
Family Fun Night -Shall be responsible for planning, implementing, and promoting family involvement in our school by providing two(2) Family Fun Nights per school year. These events shall be free of cost. One of these events will be a Family Art Night and the other a Family Science Night which will include the promotion and organization of the school’s Science Fair. Shall recruit volunteers and form committees as deemed necessary. Shall present a report at the executive board meeting following each Family Fun Night.

WCE PTA is still seeking volunteers to chair some of this year’s Committees as well as a Parliamentarian. If you are interested, we need a chair for Student Recognition, Family Fun Night, and the Handbook/Directory.

The PTA Board is very excited about this school year and the activities we have planned! We appreciate everyone’s support of our Scholars, teachers, and administrative staff!
If any of you are doing Spring Cleaning & have clothes &/or shoes to get rid of—please consider giving them to our WCE school nurse, Kari.
Kari will sort through the clothing and keep the items that she can use at the school. All other items are sent to Clothes Connection.
For example, she needs things such as shorts at this time of year and pants during the cooler months. She can use underwear throughout the year and is able to use any your child has outgrown, as long as they are clean when donated. There have been donations of new packages of underwear as well, which is wonderful!
