We are seeking volunteers to chair some of next year’s Committees and a Parliamentarian! Flyers were sent home with the scholars this week offering more information on each of the current vacancies. A few (but not all) of the committees in need are: Yearbook, Family Fun Night, and Handbook/Director.
If you would enjoy a more active role in PTA and supporting the upcoming school year please look for the pink flyer in your Scholar’s notebook. You may also contact our President, Lisa Kiel, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

If any of you are doing Spring Cleaning & have clothes &/or shoes to get rid of—please consider giving them to our WCE school nurse, Kari.
Kari will sort through the clothing and keep the items that she can use at the school. All other items are sent to Clothes Connection.
For example, she needs things such as shorts at this time of year and pants during the cooler months. She can use underwear throughout the year and is able to use any your child has outgrown, as long as they are clean when donated. There have been donations of new packages of underwear as well, which is wonderful!

The Clothes Connection and Supply Depot is in need of volunteers on Tuesdays & Wednesdays for the month of April from 8:30am – 12:30pm. The Depot is located at 5308 E. Belknap St. Haltom City, TX. 76117.
Please call 817-547-3990 if you are able to volunteer. Even if you can offer an hour or two, it would be extremely helpful.
