Along with the Chairmen and many
parent volunteers our PTA provided the school with a year filled with
successful activities. Some of our
ongoing activities include spirit wear, yearbook, website, clothes connection,
canned food drives, parent education, recycling, and
student recognition. We purchased a Snow
Cone Machine and picnic tables.
The Installation of our officers took
place last May at the
In August we hosted a Welcome back
Luncheon for the Teacher and a reception for all incoming parents. We filled orders, sorted, and delivered
School Supplies.
Our September Association Meeting
coincided with Family Fun Mystery Night.
Our October Moon Dance and Silent
Auction was a success and raised $3,832.
Also Brochure Sales profits were
$10,065.
4th grade performed at our

Arts and Education –
Celebration of Kids
Parents Education Class with
Nutritionist Alicia Jones.
For the Boo Jeans drive we collected
405 blue jeans and won the contest.
Red Ribbon Week was filled with lots
of activities for our kids to get enthusiastic about NOT using drugs.
3rd Grade performed at our
November Association Meeting.
We hosted a Salty and Sweet
appreciation for teacher.
Family Fun Night was the movie

December Association Meeting.
We held
Room Moms hosted Class Parties.
We purchased a snow cone machine.

If you’ve ever considered
volunteering for a PTA position I encourage you to step forward and introduce
yourself to any officer or chairman.
This is a great group of friends who will welcome you and encourage your
service to our school. It is truly a
rewarding experience. A copy of this
